Business Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
Regardless if you are just starting in the coaching world or have been in it for 10 years there are always questions about how to handle the business side of coaching, the administration part. Maybe you ask your self questions like…
What are coaches using for personal insurance?
How do I brand myself to really stand out from the crowd?
What are other coaches putting in their contracts?
What do I post on LinkedIn?
For the first time, ICF Chicago is hosting Business Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Join us each month for a one hour, interactive session, on topics such as social media, contracts, accounting, marketing, etc. During the hour there will be a guest speaker who presents for 20-25 minutes then it is opened up for live discussions where you can share ideas, ask questions, gain insights on current trends.
This is open to coaches of all levels; including newer coaches who have recently finished programs. These virtual events are not recorded.
Members are free, Non-members are $10.

2. Steps for outlining mini-workshop
3. Create impactful pitches and proposals for local community organizations
Many coaches, when they are establishing their businesses, spend many hours searching for clients and ways to expand their reach. It's often challenging to know whether their attention should focus exclusively on social media outreach, individual clients, speaking engagements, or if they need to go back to their traditional jobs. Building a solid client based does not have to be that daunting. During Kanesha Baynard's Profitable Client Connections presentation, she will share her journey as a coach and how she was able to partner with and serve local libraries. This partnership allowed her to build a thriving and profitable coaching practice - and appear on national television.
