Brian formed Pinnacle Learning, Inc. to focus on improving the quality of work life for individuals and teams through training and team interventions. He served as the Practice Leader of Organizational Learning with St. Aubin, Haggerty & Associates and Director of Learning and Development with Thailand’s APM Group (now SEAC). He also provided transition coaching for job seekers with Challenger, Gray & Christmas and Kensington International. Most recently Brian led all talent development-related programs from on-boarding through succession planning for TTX Company. Throughout his career Brian has offered expert coaching services and leadership development for business leaders and their teams.
Brian’s coaching approach is based on the core truth that people motivate themselves, and that the energy required to achieve optimal success comes from tapping into the deepest aspirations and natural strengths of the individual. Mr. Carlsen takes an inside-out approach, seeking to achieve crystal clarity on what drives the individual, and how they are perceived by others through data-gathering, assessment and feedback. Strengths and aspirations, as well as self- limiting habits are explored through confidential dialogue resulting in specific action plans to overcome barriers, monitor progress and achieve desired outcomes on the individual’s terms. Brian is a 2019 graduate of Coach U’s Core Essentials Fast Track Program™ (CEFTP).
